My name is Brandy Balser, and this is my 13th year teaching Kindergarten at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.  I feel truly blessed to be teaching at such an amazing school.

Coming to Our Lady felt like coming home to me because I attended Catholic schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  I received a wonderful education at Holy Family and Providence High School, and I strive to pass along the faith and knowledge I have acquired through my education to the students at Our Lady.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Indiana University Southeast, and it was through my practicum experiences there that I discovered my passion for teaching Kindergarten.  To me, teaching feels more like a hobby than a job, and I hope to pass my enthusiasm along to my students every day.  I learn as much from them as they learn from me!

My husband, Ben, and I have 2 daughters named Scarlett (Second Grade) and Ruby (Kindergarten).  I love having my girls at school with me!  We also have an awesome dog named Hudson. I am blessed to have an amazing family at home and at school.  The feeling of community is strong at Our Lady!
