 Piper was born in Washington State and, as a part of a military family, has lived in six states and two countries. She went to Wittenberg University and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked as a swim coach, camp counselor and youth zoo educator, all of which reflect her passion for helping children learn and grow. When she is not teaching, Piper enjoys exploring National Parks, kayaking and hanging out with her dogs.
