Nick grew up right here in Floyd County and attended Greenville Elementary and Floyd Central High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University Southeast, later completed a master’s in Literacy from the University of the Cumberlands, and most recently finished the Educational Leadership program at IUS.
Nick and his wife Katy have four wonderful children: Norah (7th grade), Jude (5th grade), and twins Macy and Emmett (2nd grade). As a family, they love being outdoors—especially around water—and one of their favorite places to spend time together is Rough River Lake.
Nick says the most rewarding part of teaching is watching students grow and succeed. His goal is to create a classroom where every child feels supported, engaged, and confident—and remembers 3rd grade as a time when they felt successful and inspired to learn.
