Hello! My name is Kristy Stemle. I am the 5th/6th grade math teacher. This is my first-year teaching at OLPH and almost fourth year teaching overall.

I graduated from IU Southeast in 2003 and received my teaching certificate from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2022. I student taught and began my teaching career as a 4th and 5th grade teacher at St. Joseph in Corydon. I taught all the subjects there.

I went back to school online in 2020 to live out my dream and become a teacher. Teaching brings happiness to my life, and I am honored that you trust me with your child.

I have always lived in New Albany. My family has deep roots in OLPH. My dad attended here; my parents were married here. I received my baptism, first communion, and confirmation here, and my daughter was also baptized here. I have one daughter, Brooklyn. She graduated from PHS and now attends Bellarmine University. My other child is a toy poodle, Archie. In my spare time, I like to read, watch Louisville City or my daughter play soccer and go to Disney.
