Hello!  I'm Sarah Reardon, Director of Special Education and Student Services at OLPH!

Catholic education has always been a special part of my life. I attended Holy Family from kindergarten through 8th grade and graduated from Providence High School in 2009. After college, I was blessed to begin my teaching career at St. Anthony’s in Clarksville, where I taught 2nd grade for seven years. In 2020, I joined the Our Lady of Perpetual Help family, and I have loved being an OLPH Crusader ever since! During my time at Our Lady, I spent four years teaching 5th and 6th grade ELA before moving into my current role as Director of Special Education and Student Services.

I am passionate about helping all students feel successful, confident, and supported at school. I believe every child learns differently, and I love finding creative ways to meet students where they are and help them grow. I especially enjoy small-group instruction, developing individualized supports, and working alongside teachers and families to help our students reach their full potential academically, socially, and spiritually.

I hold a Master’s degree in Reading and am currently finishing my second Master’s degree in Special Education. I enjoy continuing to learn and grow as an educator and bringing research-based practices into our resource room. One of my favorite parts of my role is creating engaging lessons and interventions that build on each student’s strengths and help them experience success.

Outside of school, my husband, Matt, and I live in Floyds Knobs with our two wonderful children, who are also OLPH Crusaders! They keep us very busy! As a family, we love spending time together, being outdoors, camping, fishing, and making memories together.

I feel incredibly blessed to be part of the OLPH community and look forward to another wonderful year of learning, growing, and supporting our Crusaders!
