My name is Brandy Balser, and this is my 9th year teaching at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.  I feel truly blessed to be teaching at such an amazing school.

Coming to Our Lady felt like coming home to me because I attended Catholic schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  I received a wonderful education at Holy Family and Providence High School, and I strive to pass along the faith and knowledge I have acquired through my education to the students at Our Lady.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Indiana University Southeast, and it was through my practicum experiences there that I discovered my passion for teaching Kindergarten.  To me, teaching feels more like a hobby than a job, and I hope to pass my enthusiasm along to my students every day.  I learn as much from them as they learn from me!

My husband, Ben, and I have 2 incredible daughters named Scarlett and Ruby. We also have 2
awesome dogs named Finnigan and Hudson. I love spending time with my family!

Hi! My name is Carrie Beth Andres. I was born and raised in Owensboro, KY and I love to go home and visit my family as often as possible. My husband Matt is from Floyds Knobs, so I moved to the area after we got married 10 years ago. We have a 7 year old little boy named Oliver, a 5 year old little girl named Charlotte, and a 2 year old baby boy named Felix. Oliver and Charlotte attend school here at Our Lady as well!
This will be my 3rd year teaching Kindergarten here at Our Lady, but my 13th year teaching Kindergarten! I love Kindergarten because you learn and grow so much in so little time! I am blessed to have the opportunity to teach in such a wonderful place!

Furthermore, I went to catholic schools my whole life. After graduating from Owensboro Catholic High School in 2003, I attended college at Brescia University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. A few years later I received my master’s degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in teaching Reading and Literacy. I am honored to be a part of the Our Lady school family!
